Dividends tax calculator

To use the ‘dividend tax’ calculator, simply click on the link below and enter in the amount of dividends you received in 2023-24 or expect to receive during the 2024-25 tax year (each tax year beginning on 6th April and ending on 5th April the following year).

You’ll also need to enter in your gross income for the relevant tax year, so that the calculator correctly work out the tax on dividends in the year based on the rate of dividend tax you’ll pay factoring in your level of salary.
